Lawyer's commonplace book [manuscript], ca. 1630.

Sustained arguments on metaphysical and other problems, quoting particularly Aristotle and Porphyry. Questions debated at Oxford in 1622 and 1625, with names of participating scholars, (p. 212). Definitions of legal instruments, with Elizabethan and Jacobean examples of deeds, etc., (p. 249). The manuscript was one attributed to Bacon.
